- – Creating a platform for discussing proffesional issues of History and Philosophy of Science (HPS) at the national scale and making collective decisions in this field.
- – Promotion of HPS in Russian academic circles and general public. Improvement of social status of HPS.
- – Strengthening professional links between Russian researchers, research groups and academic institutions working in HPS in various regions of Russia. Exchange of information about new publications and conferences in HPS in all parts of Russia. Organisation of national congresses and conferences in HPS.
- – Establishing national professional standards for publication and teaching in HPS. Accrodance of these national standards with the international standards in HPS.
- – Representation of Russian HPS community in international professional organisations including IUHPS and DLMPS. Promotion of national interests in these international organisations.
- – Lobbying on behalf of the national HPS community in government and administrative bodies responsible for distribution of national research and education funds and in relevant NGOs.
- – Coordination of fundrising for HPS in Russia.
